Our transparent pricing structure reflects our commitment to making accredited online education available to all students, regardless of their circumstances. With automation, we’ve structured our school to keep our costs low while maintaining the highest standards of academic excellence through innovation and automation.

We do not hide fees or require long-term commitments. We provide clear, straightforward pricing with no hidden charges. Whether you’re taking a single course to catch up on credits, pursuing a full high school diploma, or representing a school looking to adopt our innovative curriculum, you’ll find our pricing simple to understand and our quality exceptional.

Supplemental Program Courses

Take individual courses to supplement your high school studies, catch up on credits, or get ahead. Perfect for summer school and credit recovery.

• $125 per course (5 credits/0.5 Carnegie Units).
• No registration fees.
• No graduation fees.

Note: For avoidance of doubt, there are no registration fees, graduation or other fees for supplemental students–these are only for students in our high school diploma programs. Some lab courses require the purchase of a lab kit. See the course description in the course catalog for more information. 

Online Tutoring

Get personalized help from our credentialed teachers.

• $35 for 30-minute session. Note: this will be increasing to $60 per session early 2026.
• Available to all students and website visitors.

Homeschooling Students

Homeschooling students generally take courses with SVHS under the Supplemental Program where SVHS teachers provide grading and support and pay only the $125 per course fee.

Full-Time Diploma Program/Academy

Adult Diploma Program

Complete program for Adult students earning your high school diploma from SVHS.

• $250 one-time Registration Fee.
• $125 per course (up to 8 courses per semester for a maximum of $1,000 per semester).
• $1,000 one-time Graduation Fee.

Students have access to academic advising support. The Academic Advisor will create a graduation plan for you to follow when purchasing individual courses. Courses are purchased directly from the course catalog on the website (up to 8 courses per semester).

Fees for Students Earning their High School Diploma from SVHS

These fees do not apply to supplemental students. Students who are enrolled in other schools and are taking SVHS courses to catch up or jump ahead on credits only pay the $125/course price.

Registration Fees

Our Registration Fee covers the initial onboarding process for diploma program students, including transcript review and credit evaluation.

International students pay a higher registration fee due to the additional complexity of evaluating international transcripts, verifying English proficiency through TOEFL scores, and ensuring compliance with both US and international education requirements. This process often involves working with credential evaluation services and conducting detailed analyses of different educational systems to ensure proper academic placement.

Sales Tax

Courses and other products and services sold by SVHS are subject to sales tax in select states in accordance with the applicable laws of that state.

Pricing Changes & Updates

Silicon Valley High School reserves the right to update and alter its pricing. Any price changes will not affect currently enrolled students during their active enrollment semester.
